Seaweed, like other plant-based foods, is rich in essential vitamins and minerals. Sea and Flour is integrating seaweed into the commercial baking process. They are making breads, rolls and other baked goods that most people eat everyday, but they’re also adding in the health benefits. Penelope and Arlin Wasserman, are on a mission to use sea plants to help expand regenerative farming in coastal communities. They are creating new livelihoods for people who are challenged because of seafood that has moved from their area due to global warming. Making a perfect bread that is carb positive and carbon negative.
