We traveled to Idaho to check out Riverence, they have aquaculture facilities that raise Steelhead and Rainbow Trout. There’s more to Riverence steelhead than great taste and texture. Rated as a Monterey Bay Seafood Watch “Best Choice” green option, their fish are respectfully raised from their own eggs alongside Idaho’s Snake River.

The Riverence team are focused on protecting wild salmon and trout through responsible aquaculture, and being good stewards of the environment. The trout is farm-raised in concrete raceways fed by crystal clear 58-degree Rocky Mountain spring water from the Snake River Plain Aquifer. Riverence is the largest producer of Steelhead and Rainbow Trout in the country.
