While in Alaska, we had an opportunity to see some of their fishing boat fleets along with touring processing plants. Hearing about their sustainable fishing story shows how they are constantly working on having wild caught seafood for generations to come. Careful management based on conservation assure abundant stocks of salmon, halibut, sole, pollock, and shellfish, has kept Alaska seafood as an environmentally responsible choice.
